Feature:
This board is a professional unit, and looks and feels the part. The user interface is nice and clean in the Korg tradition; it's pleasant to use. The arpeggiators and effects seem to be well designed. I will continue to use a PC-based sequencer for most of my programming, but for sending sys-ex and patch changes to a rack of gear, it is very handy to have a keyboard with a sequencer in the setup.
Quality:
The unit out of box was flawless. I have no complaints and have had no problems. In the past I had some problem with switches on Korg gear, but I've heard the company has been using more robust switches for years now. Yes it is lightweight and as a gigging musician I thank Korg a hundred times for every ounce saved on weight. For a 76 key unit it's even lighter than my 61 key synth! When I go to rehearsals now, this baby is going with me.
Value:
Really I can't complain. I shopped around a little, got a good price on the unit, and feel that for the money, I made the best purchase.
Desirability:
This is the board all the kids are getting, because the word on the street is that the Triton is *the* board to get. After comparing to the Fantom, Karma, and Motif, it seems the most practical piece of gear to add to my rig. The rest of the band is salivating over it.
Sound:
I bought this unit for the sounds. Korg has some very distinctive and unique sounds that are a perfect complement to my Roland keyboards. Where Korg sounds really shine is the "other-worldly", lush, synth pads and imaginative leads and effects tones. While I use my Roland piano and modules for the meat and potatoes, the Triton LE is the gravy. Korg piano sounds tend to be very bright. There are more realistic piano sounds (i.e. most digital pianos), but the piano sounds on the Triton will cut through a pop/rock band on the stage. The addition of at least one superb piano sound, suitable for studio recording, would make it 10/10.
Support:
I've gone through the shop for warranty repairs in the past. They were fast and helpful, but that was just the store. Korg's website is quite informative though.
Overall:
This axe is going to add a new dimension to my playing on stage and provide some nice extra sparkle in recording situations. I will consider adding the sampler option only if it proves useful in live performances to cut down on the amount of gear. You have to know what you are getting with this unit. It is a synth, not a digital piano; the synth action and the factory sounds are great but if you want a piano, get a piano. The sounds are geared for pop/rock/electonica. More traditional players may find the sounds a little too edgy, but for the music I play, it is exactly what I needed. If you've nailed down your requirements and done your homework, this board won't disappoint you.

Feature:
Simple user interface. Took me only a couple of hours to learn my way around the system
Also the smart media card that comes in the box last a long time.
Quality:
Plactic sides are its weakness
No problems, though; interally it is good board.
Value:
Luxury sound in a compact package
Desirability:
I own one...........
Sound:
The Piano souuds, wich are the backbone of any good board, do not sound right by themselves, but they are excellent when combined with other sounds (brass, electric piano, strings)
Overall:
Good if you know what you are doing.......
