The Ion Audio VCR2PC breathes new life into your old VHS tapes by making it easy for you to capture them on your home computer. The Ion VCR 2 PC is an innovative new VCR with single-cable USB output. Save all of your VHS movies, family video, and personal video tapes directly to your PC. You’ll never have to dig for tapes again or worry if they will work. Your videotapes will be saved forever in pristine digital format.

The included Muvee AutoProducer software lets you burn your videos to DVD, watch on your iPod, PSP, or laptop computer. VCR2PC exports video compatible with certain mobile phones and portable multimedia devices!

Create new movies right on your PC using the clips from your old videos, still photos, and digital music. VCR2PC can also be used as a fully-functional, cable-ready VHS player.

Sound: I bought thjis device, I'm sending back for a refund...going to get a usb interface to go with one of my old VCR's. I'll see how this one works out. Stay away from this, it is junk! In one of the software programs it recognizes the device but will not save to HDD, or DVD...I'm talking about the EZ VHS Converter software from ION powered by Arcsoft! Feature: EZ VHS Converter offered by ION, powered by Arcsoft Ease of Use: Ease of use, but does'nt work like expected...nice paper weight. Quality: Seems like a little cheap VCR's like you get at a sub-budget dept. store.

Sound: this converter still has some faults but works really well. at first it was unable to recognize the capture device but if you go to the troubleshooting guide and go to the site and download and install the correct drivers, it will then be able to work. Ease of Use: it was very easy to use and simply laid out well Quality: some vhs tapes that i tried didn't work so well with the vhs converter, but you can hook up another vhs player to get the best quality
