An army stands before the gates of the castle, silently awaiting the call to battle. In their hands they clutch their time-worn axes, bloodied but still razor-sharp as the day they were forged. For two decades, the legion of RG warriors has grown like a virus, thrusting the RG to the head of the metal pack. Fast, flat necks, rabid pickups and double-locking trems combine to create sonic demons from beyond the world of mortals.
For over two decades, the RG has reigned as the unquestioned monarch of metal guitars. Why? Because the RG has the perfect combination of fast, flat necks, the right pickups and pickup placement, and precision trem systems to mete out creative destruction. And because the RG has evolved and expanded along with the metal genre it was designed for. The 2008 RG line offers new, striking Arctic Frost finishes, an engraved web pattern-textured top on RG420EGSBK and new Digital Camo finishes on RG370DXGP's.

Feature:
the trem is good but the thing you buy it for is the colour... thats the thing that hooked me. it look 1000 times beter with it in your hands. it's metallic in some parts and not in others. it's just awesome.
Quality:
it is freaaking awesome... everything was perfect when i got it. (i just tightened the trem bar and i was away)
Value:
this is great value for money. its well worth over the $999 i payed for it.
Desirability:
the colour has got alot of stares and "whoa! look at that!" comments that have come from various people i know. i love the colour and sound too.
Sound:
it has an awesome clean sound but really stands out when set with a crapload of distortion. i run it through a peavy rage 15 which, whilst hardly doing justice, sounds amazing.
Ease of Use:
the trem really bugs me but that could be because it's my first axe with a floyde rose-type trem. i havent got used to the restringing and tuning just yet.

i need another one to keep in lower tunings. i love this axe. best guitar i've had so far. now to get a good amp that does it justice....

the ibanez rg series is a good qaulity the sound will last for ever the strings stay in tune and last for a long time

i got this guitar for $800 with discount it usualy costs $1200 and it sounds like a ibanez which costs $2000

i own it it will atract all the hot babes when playing it

i have a cheap ashton 15 wat amp but it still sounds great i love it the best guitar i own

just plug it in and it will sound great!
