I have lived in Kentucky nearly half a century. If there is one thing I’m a expert on it’s the sound of a mandolin. I might not can make one sing the best, but I’m enjoying the sound of my Ibanez M510. The playable is comfortable, the sound is clean and it is beautiful. One other thing is it is very affordable. You won’t regret buying this mandolin.

Sound
I actually have 4 mandolins, a Kentucky F series, Washburn A series with a oval hole, Harmony F series, and last but not least the beautiful Ibanez M510. Although i do like the F series appearance also. I especially like the Ibanez M522, i don’t currently own one just yet. I’ve just got to work on convincing my wife why i need a 5th mandolin

Features
The playability, sound, and appearance is fantastic on this mandolin. This mandolin holds tune very well. It was ready to play after a quick tuneup right out of the box. Speaking of the box, this box was delivered to my home in just 2 days. You don’t need to spend a fortune to have fun making music.

Ease of Use
The playability is very comfortable, I have tried playing the guitar for years. I finally gave up apparently the guitar isn’t for me. Maybe the guitar has left you disappointed also. Well give the mandolin a try, i was able to learn very quick on the mandolin. I’m not saying I’m no Bill Monroe. At least i can play simple tunes on the mandolin and I’m improving read more quickly.

Quality
This product is made very well its made out of quality wood. Nice tuners and the finish on it is beautiful. This company has been making quality instruments for years, they know what they are doing. I expect it to last for years.

Value
This product is absolutely worth the money, as I pointed out earlier in my review. You can actually buy the Ibanez M510 and M522 for under $500.

Manufacturer Support
I actually did not have any problems with this product. I did contact Tama drums awhile back about some of their latest models. They are owned by the same company. They responded via email in one day with my question. Very informative and polite.

The Wow Factor
It’s very appealing, most people see it that are not familiar with mandolins asume it is very expensive. Based on its appeal and beautiful resonating sound.
