Description
The Destroyer is an icon of Ibanez 80's design and tone. Now it's available again - the same size, from the same factory, and at practically the same price - just add Spandex! The DT420 is built with a Basswood body, QM1 and 2 humbucking pickups, and a Gibraltar II bridge with a Quickchange tailpiece for easy string changes.

Basswood body: Basswood is a comparatively lightweight wood, which makes it very comfortable for extended playing. With a good balanced of highs and lows, basswood is right in between alder and mahogany in sound character.
Jumbo frets: Jumbo frets offer easy playing for leads and chording.
Gibraltar II bridge: This bridge locks down for extra sustain and features a Quickchange tailpiece for easy string changes.
QM1 (neck) and QM2 (bridge) pickups: Designed specifically to complement the S body, the QM1 is a ceramic magnet humbucker with medium output and full clarity.

"Ibanez DT class guitar-unbeatable."
Feature:
this guitar is quite simple but at the same time very intense, with two humbucked pick ups you can produce a wide variety or sounds. Though the guitar does not come in my favored color, it has an awesome shape and the fret board is very easy to move around on. To those of you who do not enjoy having a whammy bar this is a good guitar it has a nice hard tail very easy to string.
Quality:
The quality of this product is very high, obviously not one of the lower Ibanez's. there are no loose parts or anything of the sort, the whole guitar seems stable as if it were all one piece. the finish is very good and would not wear off even in the intensist playing very light durably body, though it may not keep a note for the longest amount of time it is very easy to wield.
Value:
This guitar is well worth the price, probably more than that, but Ibanez always has a low price for a better guitar.
Desirability:
this has got a great shape tha caught my eye from the beginning, at first you may think it was designed for looks not ability but that thought is quickly thrown out the moment you play it. Though some of the earlier models of the DT class only come in apple red, which in my opinion is not attractive, it makes up for it with everything else.
Sound:
this guitar has got a great sound, it can be used to play almost any type of thing fairly efficiently.
Support:
I have not contacted the company, because there has not been one flaw with this guitar.
Overall:
I will probably keep this guitar for a very very long time. Though it could be slightly modified with more pickups or the likes, it is quite sufficient as is.
