Overview
When Artcore guitars debuted in summer 2002, they turned the music industry upside down. No longer were full and semi-acoustic guitars just big expensive jazz boxes for jazz players. With Artcore guitars you get an amazingly affordable price plus the quality and tone you expect from Ibanez, the guitar company with over four decades of experience making full and semi-acoustic guitars.
Medium output Artcore pickups accurately reproduce the cool, complex tones of a hollow and work well with effects.
The great upper fret access and sustain of a set-in neck at the price of a bolt-on.

Ibanez Artcore AWD82T Customer Review
Sound
Love it, but then I'm not pro enough to make really valid comments on that. But for an occasional player like me, the sound fits right into my productions, and has all the semi-hollow sound I wanted. And it's still nice and forgiving to play.
Features
tremolo is brilliant, but what's missing is separate tone and volume controls for each pickup to create a wider palette of sounds.
Quality
given it's made in china, with its century-old tradition of guitar making... ahem... the quality is excellent, it's a joy.
Value
It's an Ibanez.
