With a body made from exotic Cordia wood, the Ibanez AEW22C Artwood acoustic-electric provides clear, rich tones with superior resonance.

The graceful Ibanez AEW22C features multi-Rosewood binding on the body and headstock, and a "sweeping teardrop" inspired Cordia/Spalted Maple rosette. Once a secret among high-end luthiers: Cordia once combined with Spruce results in a "best-of-both-worlds" tonewood hybrid. Found in East Africa, Cordia is a visually appealing, colorful tonewood that inspires tonal comparisons to Indian Rosewood and Macassar Ebony. It offers deep dampening qualities, with long, clean resonance to provide precise clarity and rich overtones. Other features include the Ibanez AEQ-SP2 Preamp, matched with a Fishman pickup and both 1/4" and XLR outputs.
