Feature:
Mine did come with wheels, however they were crappy wheels and needed to be replaced after 5 or 6 gigs. I modded in a Speakon jack so I can use a speakon - speakon speaker cable from my amp rack.
Quality:
Ok 1 speaker came damaged, I used some Gorilla glue and screws to repair the hole that was in the side of the box and now its fine. However after a few years of gigging with them, the glue that holds the front baffle (face) to the side panels has completely lost all of its strength. I noticed that the boxes were rattling quite a bit on heavy base hits, and sure enough the side panels were flexing apart. I fixed that with a handful of wood screws through the side into the front baffle. Both speakers (and both side panels) suffered from this problem.
Value:
If your looking for a huge speaker that can double as your base cab for a cheap price, this is your best bet. Just make sure that the cabs are in good shape before you go out.
Desirability:
Its a speaker, a huge one.
Sound:
I have had a pair of these for 3 years now, and over those three years the sound really hasn't changed that much. When playing at a moderate volume, you need to add some base to balance the sound (and take it out when you crank it up). When your trying to push these a bit and play for a large crowd, the 5 tweeters are incredibly harsh, ear piercing loud (they hurt your ears if you stand in front of them), not to mention they sound terrible at that volume. I am toying with the idea of disconnecting 3 of the 5 tweeters and only running 2. I think it gives a much clearer high end at loud volumes. I also want to try a sonic maximizer to see how much that would clean up the sound.
Ease of Use:
Well these speakers are huge, and if you don't have a hand dolly or wheels on the bottom of them you are going to need a second person to help you move these. If you have to go up a set of stairs, find somebody to help you, these things are huge.
Support:
I haven't had to call Gemini yet, so I will give them a pass here.
Overall:
I would like to sell my pair of speakers and get smaller single 15" and a set of tripods to replace these (and eventually a sub), for the simple reason of them just being to big to get around with. The issues I had with the cabs blowing apart, the wheels, and the hole in one cab were all things that you shouldn't have to worry about in well made speaker cabs.
