The Gibson Custom 1957 Les Paul Gold Top VOS 2013 electric guitar captures, in remarkable detail, all the changes the Les Paul model saw in 1957. Gibson Custom has gone to extreme measures to research old diagrams and build methods as well as study vintage instruments to ensure this reissue is closer to the real thing as has ever been produced. The result is nothing short of breathtaking! With period correct materials, looks, feel and tone you'll agree the '57 Les Paul Goldtop VOS is the finest rendition of this reissue to date.

Features:

- An updated Gold Top finish that is much more accurate to the vintage instruments
- Vintage color fingerboard and body binding is a darker cream color to match the original 50's Gibsons
- Re-engineered truss rod, truss rod washer and anchor to their original form
- CustomBucker Pickups are Gibson Custom's most accurate recreation of the original 50's PAF pickups
- Period correct hide glue is used for the neck fit, this labor intensive glue many argue adds to the vintage tone
- Kluson Deluxe Green tuners are as near a replica of the original Kluson tuners as is available
- Aniline Dye is used and results in superior wood grain presentation and depth of color
