The Custom Shop, 50th anniversary ES335TD is a reincarnation of the 60's ES335 with the later 1960's fast neck profile, historically accurate tonewoods and aging provided by Gibson's acclaimed VOS process. Utilizing period-correct hardware including the insert volume and tone knobs, double band tuners and a pair of accurate PAF-style 57 Classic humbucking pickups; the Thinline ES335 gives you the tone, feel and playability of the original without the hefty price.

Neck and Headstock
The guitar's neck and headstock are made in the classic tradition of the original 1960 ES335TD. Carved from a single piece of mahogany with a maple spline, and topped with a rosewood fingerboard. The design incorporates Gibson's lauded 17-degree back-angled headstock, which contributes greatly to the instrument's resonance and sustain.
