The uncovered 490R and 498T humbucking pickups, plus trapezoid fingerboard inlays with an engraved "C" in the 12th-fret inlay, identify this new classic model. Available in Blues Burst, Heritage Cherry Sunburst, Silver, and Tri Burst.

always wanted a Gibson. This one is thin letting you hold it closer. Sound is jazz club. I'll hand it down to the grandkids in 50 years.
Sound
Fantastic sound in comparison with my other axes, Gretch Clipper, etc. As a jazz man of 40 years, at last i can say that I hear the sound I waited for.
Features
No accessories, except for the Gibson case, which is just a sweetheart. wish they included some maintenance info. You'll spend much time getting it dialed in.
Quality
The finger guard looked unpolished & even unsanded. There was a chunk of polishing cloth wedged under the neck. Can't get it out without scratching.
Value
It's such a beauty that it's worth the price. It's freaking awesome to see!
