The Standard Fat Strat includes all the features of the Standard Strat -- fast action maple neck, comfort-contoured body, three single-coil pickups and standard synchronized tremolo - but with one humbucking, two single-coil pickup configuration.

"with a little love we can work it out..."

Sound: Sounds really good but i needed a little more Beef, swapped the humbucker with a seymour duncun jeff beck sh4 and now she screams.the neck and middle pickups are really nice classic single coil pick-ups no need to replace. Feature: its a classic strat with a little more umph... Ease of Use: its a strat... Quality: its pretty clear this is not american made, but is still better then 75% of the other guitars out there. the neck is really nice and the over all design of the guitar is real smooth. Value: a sweet strat for under 400 bucks.. forgetaboutit.... Manufacturer Support: never have asked for any.... The Wow Factor: i was looking at a les paul but the arctic blue color just made me want this guitar its a real pretty piece of art... Overall: i always look at a guitar purchase like i look at a pet, its for life. I'm already looking for a les pual again but thats a really long unfulfilled love affair i've had with the paul....

Sound: I don't ever use the single coils on this guitar except when I'm playing completely clean. The humbucker of course is mediocre. It's way to raspy and obnoxious-sounding for my taste. I play lead guitar though, so this pickup naturally will sound bad without a decent pedal. Rythm guitar with this guitar isn't bad, but definetly nothing to brag about. It just sounds like a crappier subdued Epiphone. I'm eventually going to rip out the stock humbucker and replace it with a DiMarzio Evolution, but as of now I don't like the sound of this guitar very much. Especially not for my type of music. Feature: Mine came with a gig bag that I don't use. Having a tremolo is nice, but the one on this guitar isn't anything special. I hate the tuners, they don't keep tune for over two songs, which is a real asspain on stage. I hate bolt-on necks too, because the chunk of wood the neck is bolted to makes it a chore getting to the high frets when you strap the guitar at a decent height, unlike the Beatles and Hawthorne Heights. The single-coil pickups sound great clean, but they're completely useless with gain. Having a humbucker is nice, but I'd rather have two. The tone knobs on the guitar have no effect on the sound at all when you're playing with distortion or overdrive. The deep dish jack sucks, especially live when using a wireless adapter. Even when not wirless, the cable has to curve around the side of the guitar. Ease of Use: This guitar is very versatile, but it takes a lot of fooling around with to get the very best tone. That's an especially difficult task for a beginner, and any experienced player who buys this is out of their mind. It's straight forward, plug the guitar in, turn gain on, and play. The humbucker doesn't sound much different with different settings anyway. Quality: I had bought a Fender because I had known their reputation to be venerable. I was wrong, I did not like the way this guitar was set up, and the hardware is all garbage. My tremolo screeches when I use it, and the tuners can't hold the string in tune for over 4 minutes. The strings break waaaaay too easily too. I would keep a backup guitar ready just because this guitar will either play without any problems at all, or every possible problem will occur. You'd never know. Value: In all honesty the best thing about this guitar is the price. It's relatively cheap for a decent tone FOR BEGINNERS. I bought this to get a taste of the electric guitar sound when I first started out, and the price was perfect. Now I'm a more advanced player and this guitar just doesn't seem worth that money anymore. Manufacturer Support: I've never dealt with them. The Wow Factor: It's a Strat. Big whoop. And mine's black. Now that just screams out "Look at me, there's nothing like this guitar", doesn't it? Overall: It was my first guitar, and good when I was a beginner, since the price was relatively low. Now that I'm an advanced guitarist, this guitar's tone doesn't suit my need, especially for my style of music. I'd give it a 6.5 but there isn't a 6.5.
