1972 was a magical year for the Telecaster guitar, which was then available in several new designs and with more options than ever before.

The Fender '72 Telecaster Deluxe features many of those options, including an alder body, a C-shaped maple neck, bullet truss rod, '70s vintage hardtail strings-through Strat(R) bridge, three-bolt neckplate, '70s Strat headstock, two Wide Range humbucking pickups, traditional three-way switching and four skirted amp knobs. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Fender products.

"Awesome guitar with excellent sound and value."
Sound: Excellent sound. I thought the 3 position knob may not offer me a lot of choices, but to the contrary it is awesome. I like position 1 and 3. 1 offers a very sweet glassy sound and 3 offers a fat sound. Very smooth frets. It has a fatter neck. The bottom string (High E) doesn't have too much room at the bottom of the fret board. It takes a little bit of practice to not bend the bottom string further down as it will move out of the fret board. Once you get used to it, you are fine. Feature: Comes with a nice padded gig bag. Quality: Excellent build quality and beautiful finish. Hope the glossy finish lasts a long time. Value: Excellent value for the money. Manufacturer Support: Have not needed so far. The Wow Factor: Cool looks. Overall: Beautiful sound and excellent value for the money. Worth a lot more than what I paid.
