"Get a pair for yourself and see what all the hype is about,,,if you can find them used,,go for it."
Feature:
How much easier could it get? 2 speakon connectors, little feet that help change the angle if you use it as a monitor,,,which by the way this makes a great monitor,,,wish I had another pair,,,
Quality:
Although this product has slowly climbed in price (started out at $489 and is now $579)it's one of the better sounding 15" 2-way cabs you can get with a 400watt rms power rating,,,and they will take the full 400 watts and perform too,,,Biggest issue you'll ever have with these is if you ever have to take the cabinet apart,,,you'll need a 10" plus shaft length on your phillips screwdriver to reach all the screws thru the cabinet. Looks like the screwdriver I had to buy just for that purpose will be the only purpose.
Value:
This cabinet would be MUCH more attractive in the upper $400 range than the upper $500 range for cost. I'm finding that vertain EV products are a little pricey,,,,look at the new ZX3's and tell me that it's worth $849 for a single 12" 2-way cabinet. Okay so it handles 600 watts,,,,it's still a 12" 2-way,,,get ready for some extreme sticker shock with that product.
Desirability:
It's a slick looking, great sounding, gotta have 2-way 15" speaker,,just be ready to unload some ching on a pair,,,all around I'd give them a 9 out of 10,,,,great speaker EV,,,but drop the price and see how it sells,,,,
Sound:
Great sounding speaker,,,crossed over at just the right place for a 15" 2-way speaker. I use them as mains with a pair of 18" subs,,,big sound when you push them like you mean it.
Ease of Use:
Plug your cable into the speaker and the other end into the power amp,,,very easy to use. And if you have a Phillips screwdriver, you'll be able to adjust the "Feet" if you need to.
Support:
It's the best if you never have to use it,,,and when you do,,,you get to speak to a real person to oder OEM parts.
Overall:
Great sound,,ok price,,,takes a beating and performs day after day.

"Simple, solid gear - you get what you pay for..."
Feature:
I'm not much into frills and gimmicks. What you see is what you get with this speaker - solid construction, durable hardware, nothing unnecessary. I like it that way. More features would only cheapen it.
Quality:
Very well made, sturdy and durable. They've been banged around, dropped, rolled around in the back of the truck, and just keep rockin. I wouldn't recommend this treatment, but they do seem to hold up well.
Value:
I've heard other speakers in this price range, but none that sounded better.
Sound:
Great sound, lots of punch. I've never needed a sub with these. We use them for a 4-piece rock/blues band, just vocals and sax through the mains, the bass, bass drum, and guitar all have their own amps. Great sound out front. Haven't used them as monitors, but I'm guessing they would wrok just fine. I could only go an "8" on the sound, as I figure you can only acheive a "10" with top of the line $2500+ speakers.
Ease of Use:
Plug it in, turn up the amp, you're done.
Support:
Can't really comment, never needed support. Great web page with lots of info.
