The 5000AD3 features a host of refinements and upgrades to its original, performance-proven design. The legendary DW 5000 Series bass drum pedals have remained "The Drummer's Choice"® and the standard of the industry for over a quarter of a Century. The workhorse 5000 Delta 3 Series now features an Accelerator (offset) Double Chain & Sprocket along with aluminum hex shafts, linkages, dual/side adjusting hoop clamp, 101 two-way beater, built-in spurs plus all the versatility, adjustability and reliability that allow you to customize the feel and performance to fit the way you play.

DW's patented Ball-Bearing hinge is the state-of-the-art in hinge design and the beginning of our Delta Tri-Bearing System. The ball bearings virtually eliminate friction while keeping perfect alignment so you can feel the footboard working with you.

The Accelerator (A) Drive System offers an eccentric motion that creates an indirect relationship between the sprocket and the footboard, increasing the velocity of the pedal by shortening the length of the stroke. It is recommended for situations that require increased speed and sensitivity.
