DDrum Golf Ball Snare Drum

No longer available at zZounds
This rich-sounding snare pops like a golf ball, thanks to its rugged and resonant hammered finish.

Part of the stunning DDrum snare line, this snare delivers a unique look and sound to complement any kit. The DDrum Golf Snare Drum features a white powder-coated shell that has a hammered finish (almost as if golfers wanted something to complement their playing) which helps produce such a unique look. 15 vent holes provide enough of that good resonance that only comes from a DDrum snare drum.

Features:

- White Powder-Coated Shell/Hardware
- 1.5 mm Hammered Shell
- 15 Vent-Holes
- Off-Set Lugs

Don't think i will get another snare for a while. It has found its niche in my collection
Sound
Great sound. Very fast, sharp and dry. Tuned really tight you a thin crack but losen it a little and your will get a very think sound that can easily fill a room.
Features
Die cast hoops are a huge plus adding to the volume and power of the drum. Although the powder coated hoops will flake paint after some use. The only real downside is the strainer. I had to replace the strainer strings and the throwoff will come off while playing at time. Maybe that is just how hard i play though. I will probably end up replacing it.
Ease of Use
As easy as a snare drum can be other than the strainer issue mentioned above.
Quality
great sound for a little price. You can tell they saved money on the hardware. but the shells and hoops are great. They even put decent remo heads on the drum.
Value
Fir the price your won't find a better snare.
Manufacturer Support
haven't used or needed it.
The Wow Factor
if you like all white then it is great. I spray painted mine.
