The Denon DNMC6000 comes bundled with Virtual DJ LE, Audio/Video/Karaoke mixing software. The Denon DNMC6000 is MIDI-mapable and compatible with other popular DJ programs. The unit interfaces seamlessly with Mac OSX and Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 operating systems. Unlike other comparable products, the DNMC6000 includes a selectable Video/Audio control cross fader feature. Each side of the unit can control up to two decks (for a total of four), with visible deck color change for intuitive, straightforward operation. Also notable is the fact that the Denon DNMC6000 is a real mixer, able to process audio inputs for external devices without a connection to a computer, as a dedicated mixer unit would.

Key features include rack-mountability (with included 19 inch rackmount accessory kit), a number of on-board MIDI effect controls, durable construction, intuitive layout, dual jog wheels, pitch fader, channel fader, cross fader and much more. The unit's Pitch/Fader/Volume lock function holds the last known Audio value and position until the NULL point is again reached. It is also easy for users to find where they are going, with the included File browse navigation keys and rotary encoder file selector knob with illuminated ring. Also featured are the unit's high-quality, high-output headphone amp, the independent 3-band Channel EQ with Kills (high-mid-low) and various Utility presets to customize user settings. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Denon products.

Sound: The sound is great. You wont be dissapointed with this unit. No need for an I O it has a soun d card built in. Big thumbs up for that feature. Ease of Use: Very easy to use and bundled with VDJ also very easy to use. I found this easier to use compared to ther Comtrollers I have had in the past. Quality: Very high quality, dont need to worry about breaking this too easy.. Value: Great Value for everthing you get. Manufacturer Support: I have not dealt with Denon but have read several reviews about the support and company. I dont think it wll be an issue. The Wow Factor: This is a great loking product and every button and knob is very smooth. This is made to last and you can tell as soon as you unbox this unit ans feel just how solid the unit truely is. Overall: I plan on using this for a cple of years or until more improved technology and more features come out on a new Denon Console.

Overall: I have been using the Dennon MC6000 for a little over a year and overall this controller is a quality piece of gear. The basic controls are logically layed out. Even with my big hands I haven't had any problems cue point juggling, fx modulation or cueing. Even in a dark environment it is logical to use and the back lit buttons are easily visible. The problem is delving in the more advanced features of Traktor pro 2 The MC6000 gets more complicated to use. There is quality TSI file support at the Traktor Bible website but when you use the loop record and play samples it starts boggling my mind. I'm not saying its impossible but the learning curve is steep and I am just getting my head around the gear needed to climb it. Overall the machine is solid, robust, metal with excellent connections and quality drivers on my windows 7 machine. would I buy it again..... I don't know, I am leaning towards more of a controllerist focus and I think there may be better options for all my button pressing pleasure in the future. BUT If I needed a high quality 2-4 deck controller with a good size (easy to connect in a tight Dj booth) excellent looping and FX manipulation capabilities I would buy one again. For sure. Hope this helps.
