Feature:
mine came with a workable shock mount and bag. the sound is the best feature.
Quality:
i didn't look too close because i couldn't wait to mount it and get going but it has a solid feel and the fit & finish seem flawless. i'm a product engineer and nothing struck me as flimsy or cheap. it definately classes up my project studio. if you are going to spend more money it wouldn't be for a better built mic. the shock mount, which i wasn't expecting anyway, works but seems pretty cheap--love the quick release and it is lined so it won't scratch the finish and i probably won't upgrade it.
Value:
great introduction to condenser mics, definately good enough for hobbiest at a rediculous price point.
Desirability:
i bought it hoping it would improve my acoustic recordings and it does that but it's also attractive and it looks & feels like the expensive models.
Sound:
keeping in mind that this is my first experience with a condenser mic this sounds much better and is much easier to use than a dynamic mic for recording acoustic guitar in my small studio. sit in front of it--not too close, twist yourself a bit for the tone your looking for and play. sweet, i love it. recorded Space Lord, Touch Peel Stand, I Hate Everything About You, as well as some of my own delicate little acoustic pieces and they sound very good without re-touching with eq. i can't say how this sounds compared to the other condensers you're considering but i'm not dissappointed at all. btw: i don't know if this matters but i ordered the Global Audio by CAD & got a CAD instead, mine is silver/gold not black--feels like a paid for a squire & got a strat. if you are wondering if you need a condenser mic, yes you do. this one might be a good choice.

Overall:
this should do for awhile. i'm not primarily an acoustic musician but i wanted something better than a dynamic mic and i am very pleased with this. there are other pieces in my chain that i would upgrade before this. early recording tests on a variety of tunes tells me that this will get me the sound i wanted.

Feature:
Great budget mic but you will need to pair it with a nice pre-amp since it does not have a pad or high pass filter.
Quality:
Not a $1000 mic but sounds almost as good as one
Value:
No better large diaphragm condensor at this price
Desirability:
I will never record vocals agin with a dynamic mic.
Sound:
Very clear sound, extremely sensative but sounds great on vocals and drum overhead.
