Lots of Connections

The EPA150 comes ready for your input, literally. Channels 1 and 2 accept balanced XLR mics, as well as balanced and unbalanced line sources, such as electronic keyboards and the like. An acoustic or electric guitar can be connected directly via Channel 3's Mic/Inst input. Want to play some of your favorite tunes at the picnic? Just plug a CD/MP3 player into the Channel 4/5 RCA jacks and crank it up!

Superb Sound Quality

A great deal of engineering went into the design of the EPA150. Since Behringer already makes some of the best-sounding audio mixers, amplifiers and loudspeakers on the planet, it should come as no surprise that the EPA150 provides far superior sound quality than other products in this class. The satellite loudspeakers feature twin custom-designed 4.0-inch woofers and a 1.0-inch tweeter for incredible fidelity and clarity that belies their small size.

These are truly professional features: long-throw faders, instead of rotary controls for precise level adjustments; active 3-band channel EQ, for exceptional tone control of signal sources; phantom power, so you can use studio-grade condenser mics; a 7-band stereo graphic EQ, to adjust overall system response; and Behringer's state-of-the-art FBQ Feedback Detection System, to track and eliminate those annoying mic squeals.

The Sweet Sound of Reverb, or Delay, or...

If you're making a speech, chances are you won't need it, but if you're playing a musical instrument and/or singing, you might want to add some effects. So, Behringer has included a 24-bit stereo FX processor with 100 great-sounding presets including reverb, chorus, fl anger, delay, pitch shifter and various multi-effects to sweeten your performance.

Everything You Need

The EPA150 is a complete system. Just set up the main unit on a tabletop, deploy the speakers and connect them with the included cables. Connect the high-quality XM1800S microphone (it even includes a long mic cable and mic stand clip) and hit the power switch--voila, instant PA system! When you are done, just stow the mic and all accessories in the onboard storage compartment.

Sound: The sound is perfect there is no "phaser" at the end of signals as some reviews suggest. The bass is perfectly adequate. I play a Shure SM58 and a Martin Guitars DRS1 through it. I was joined by a lady singer who used the mic that comes with it that Behringer provide. I thought it was better than the SM58. I didnt have stands for the speakers so they were on bar stools! The sound was still fantastic and more than loud enough for an acoustic performer. I had it at half way and it filled a medium sized bar with rich tones. Feature: You get what you pay for and i believe Behringer were generous with this one. I think theres 6 channels on it. Three band EQ per channel and i think an 8 band eq for with feedback detection (a godsend) there are all the effects you will need for vocals. Im actually gonna record vocals through this thing from now on. Very nice packaging its so easy and quick to set up and down. I gig 10 times a week in sunny spain so this is important as i have to get taxis everywhere in the boiling sun so i want something portable. Ease of Use: A child could use this thing. I would say the manual is useless im not even sure it is a manual: I think it says dont put the pspeakers on the floor and dont put the mic infront of the speakers. Maybe iv not read it right but the quick use guide on the casing gets you going fine. Quality: Yeah this thing is ingenius i commend Behringer. They have solved the singer songwriters age old problem. I wanna get the train round the country doing gigs and sleeping on couches but... the PA is too big. It has actually given me the freedom to go do a tour of the UK and Ireland! Value: 230 euros for a perfect PA that fits in one hand and does the job with ease. No more carrying amp, mixer, two speakers, two stands and a box of cables! Believe me iv done 1000 gigs so far and they have all been hassle! I would pay more. Manufacturer Support: I havent dealt with Behringer, this is a good thing. The Wow Factor: It look brilliant, it is ingenius. Thank god for German engineering. Overall: Its brilliant! If it ever breaks i will just buy a new one. You cant argue for 230 bucks. My watch cost more and it makes me no money on my wrist.
