Lightweight B212 loudspeakers make load-in easy!
Without a roadie, even the shortest tour can wear out the working musician. Lugging around heavy PA gear adds time and strain to load-in, sapping your energy and taking away from your live performance. You need to be at your best when you take the stage. After all, your fans didn't spend their hard earned dollars on the cover charge to watch you schlep gear; they came to see you rock! Good roadies seem to be in short supply, so Behringer's Eurolive PA speakers were created to help keep you fresh for the gig. They deliver the big power and tight sound your fans demand, without all the excess weight.
Rugged polymer enclosure
While most speaker enclosures are made with dense, heavy wood, The B212 uses a light, high-grade polymer. This material is strong and rigid to support the internal components, and resists scuffs and scratches to maintain a professional appearance on stage. Deep-welled, ergonomically designed handles let you get a good grip for comfortable carrying. At just 23 pounds each, you'll have these speakers out of the van, into the venue, and up on stands faster than ever before. They make great floor monitors, too. The trapezoidal cabinet design lets you tilt them on their side to angle the sound anywhere on stage. Stick a couple speakers out front for the vocalist and guitars, tuck one back behind the drummer, and "stick-mount" two more for use as front-of house mains. At this fantastic price, you can afford to upgrade the whole rig!
Tight, crisp, two-way tone
These loudspeakers may not weigh much, but there's no shortage of sound. The two-way design delivers crisp, full-range tone across its entire frequency spectrum. Lows are handled by Behringer's twelve inch long-throw woofer, delivering big, articulate bass all the way down to 65Hz. Highs up to 18kHz are routed to the 1.75-inch titanium compression driver for natural, airy tone. Crossed-over at 2.5kHz, midrange frequencies are smooth and well-balanced, filling any room with warm, detailed, pro-quality audio. You work hard on your music, and B212's make sure your fans get to appreciate every little sonic detail. As passive cabinets, you'll need an external power amplifier to push your mixer's output. These PA speakers are rated at 125 Watts RMS into eight ohms, with 500-Watt peaks. You have all the headroom you need to crank up the volume without distortion. Whether you push the vocals up over the instrumental stage-volume, or broadcast a full band mix, your B212's deliver every note with power and authority.
Easy integration into any PA rig
B212 loudspeakers make it easy to beef-up your existing PA system. Each cabinet contains two professional-quality Neutrik Speakon connectors, plus two standard 1/4-inch output jacks to plug into any live-sound power amp. These connections are all wired in parallel, so you can daisy-chain multiple speakers in a variety of configurations. String several B212's together for your monitor mix, and the guitarist can stay on the groove as he shreds across the stage with his wireless system. Or, add an external crossover and subwoofer to the front-of-house mains, and watch the whole room shake when you drop the bass! You could even add a few extra B212's out on the edge of large concert halls for use as side-fills, widening the dispersion and evening-out the tone. Live sound has never been this effortless!
