Project clear, warm, and balanced acoustic tones with the RD16CE. This dreadnought includes a comfortable cutaway and quality Alvarez electronics.

The Alvarez RD16CE is a serious acoustic-electric dreadnought guitar and constructed using many of the same components and techniques used in building their higher end instruments. The Alvarez RD16CE sounds and plays superbly well and is a classic looking Dreadnought. The Alvarez RD16CE has a spruce top and mahogany back and sides, classic tone woods that generate a warm and well-balanced tone. Alvarez has made the neck profile on Regent Series a little finer so they're easier to play and every model is constructed using a dovetail neck joint that optimizes the transfer of energy between the neck and body.

This acoustic-electric version features a pre-amp with a 3-band E.Q. and built in tuner and is equally at home both on and off stage.

All Regent Series instruments are fitted with the Alvarez bi-level bridge to carry more vibration to the top, which improves tone and resonance, and the PPS saddle and nut help to improve response and sustain.

This instrument has also been finished using an electrostatic painting process for a more even finish that uses less paint in its application. This allows the guitar to sing a little more and it also looks fantastic.

Premium die cast tuners deliver tuning stability.
