This guitar is the acoustic-electric version of the AD60, and it delivers the same level of warmth and power. It comes with the SYS550 blend pickup system.

The Alvarez AD60CE is an acoustic-electric version of the AD60 which is fitted with the awesome SYS550, blend system EQ w/tuner, developed by our friends at B-BAND.

In terms of value, the Artist '60 Series is probably the best guitar we have ever made. We were very careful to get the construction just right to allow this series to sing, and deliver a player experience that's so good; it's probably revolutionary for a mid price instrument. Whether you're looking for a Dreadnought, Folk or something a little more niche such as a Baritone, Grand Auditorium or Bass, Artist Series has them all.

Live performers demand a lot from their instruments- and so should you! Killer tone, effortless playability, and stunning looks shouldn't be mutually exclusive- and with the Alvarez AG75CE, you get all three! At the heart of the Alvarez AG75CE's amazing tone is its hand-sanded scalloped bracing, which allows the top to resonate more freely without compromising strength & stability.

Alvarez's rosewood bi-level bridge puts more down-pressure on the bone saddle, creating a more efficient energy transfer from the strings to the top, giving you more volume than you ever thought possible from a guitar in this price range. And with its hand-selected rosewood back & sides, you get all that big, warm bottom-end rosewood is known for at a groundbreaking price. Alvarez also refined their neck profile, with a thinner, faster neck that plays easier, yet still feels solid in your hands.

The SYS650 read more preamp allows you to blend the internal microphone with the transducer for that perfectly balanced sound. And the grand auditorium cutaway body gives you all the access you need to reach wherever your inspiration takes you. From the stage to the studio and back again, the Alvarez AG75CE has the looks the get their attention, and the tone to keep it.

i bought this guitar after returning a blemished instrment, and i'm so glad i did,its much better than my first choice.
Sound
this guitar produces a bright attack and responds well to different picking techniques.and where you strum makes a difference, close to the neck for a warmer tone, and closer to the bridge for a more treble/jangle tone.
Features
solid spruce top sounds and looks beautiful,on board tuner is very convienient ,as is the knobs for adjusting the tone once its plugged in.
Ease of Use
i usually play electric, the guitar came set up pretty good.action seems higher than an electric, but still nice to play.
Quality
quality is well made hand crafted, professional instrument.seems very solid so far.
Value
worth is above the 429 mark.its compairable to a 800-900 instrument.

The Wow Factor
the woodwork is absolutely beautiful.nice light colored sitka spruce, tight grained.and the mahogany on this guitar is a stunning"rose colored mahogany"used to make high end products.the balance of mahogany and spruce is the best imo.and improves with playing time.
