"I would pay a fortune for this great long lasting affordable mixer."

Feature:
They all work perfect. even though im not using cubase. I give advice to people who are getting this. you get what you par for.

Quality:
its made perfect. should be used for professionals.

Value:
best in the buisness

Desirability:
i wanted it along time ago. I got it and its just what i wanted.

Sound:
No need to improve. The sound quality is outstanding!

Ease of Use:
take it out of the box. plug the power supply and hook usb. simple

Support:
well i trust Zzounds. they always provide you great instruments. mine lasted 2 years, and just ordered another. thanks Zzounds.

All i can say is THE BEST

"Cheap for a reason"

Feature:
great features if the worked- on longevity.

Quality:
Like I said, it quit giving good performance about 6 months in.

Value:
Cheap but you get what you pay for.

Desirability:
Very appealing marketing, but not good in practice

Sound:
Although It originally worked fine I have had it now 7 months and it crackles and pops when it warms up. If you're using Cubase LE or Sequel( both great apps by Steinburg) the mixer must be turned off and rebooted to hear playback through the on board soundcard, a real pain and time consuming.

Ease of Use:
was great when new, with Garage band- Cubase is more difficult anyway so it might be hard to tell.

Support:
so far so good.

Overall:
I am trying to sell it now to get a different- firewire type interface/mixer

Multimix mixers only support operation under Windows XP Home and XP Pro.
Live mixing, direct digital recording, and effects processing, all in one! Both USB 2.0 and FireWire versions offer 24-bit conversion with separate input routing for every channel! Onboard 28-bit effects processing with 100 presets. Multimix 8 has 4 XLR mic/line channels with gain adjust and phantom power, plus 2 stereo input channels. Multimix 16 has 8 XLR channels, 4 stereo inputs, plus 60mm faders. Mac and Windows compatibility. Includes Cubase LE recording software.
