After players heard the Alnico II Pro single-coil models, many asked for that same sweetness in a humbucker version. The only way to get that sound is to use the Alnico II musical magnets with a new coil winding. The result is a warm, sweet tone with more natural string vibration for great sustain. Learn More...

The Evenly Voiced Harmonics Model pickup is a faithful recreation of the legendary low-output, Alnico 2, P.A.F.-style humbucker that Seymour designed in 1978 for various high-profile artists he was working with at the time. This pickup should not be associated with any specific artist. More and more, people are calling the Evenly Voiced Harmonics Model the "'78 Model." Same pickup. The traditional Evenly Voiced Harmonics model comes with a 4-conductor braided shield cable. Learn More...

The SH-55 was designed jointly by Seymour and humbucker inventor Seth Lover. Just like the original 1955 P.A.F.s, the SH-55 utilizes a nickel silver bottom plate, butyrate plastic bobbins; plain enamel wire, an Alnico bar magnet, a wooden spacer, and black paper tape. The SH-55 uses a nickel silver cover instead of brass, which magnetically eliminates too much of the pickup's natural high-end tone. Learn More...

Low noise and high output for incredible response and sustain. Fender/Lace Sensors continue to be some of the most popular pickups to date. Each color represents a different sound. Gold is the classic Vintage Strat sound with glassy bell like tones (used on the original Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy Stratocasters). Silver is like an overwound Strat pickup with added midrange harmonics and bass. The Blue is warm and loud like an old 50's humbucker. Red is the scorcher with high output, lots of midrange harmonics, and crunch like a hot humbucker. Learn More...
Active humbuckers have a distinctive sound: powerful, clean, open-sounding, with excellent harmonic overtones and very tight lows. This also fits the description of a great 7-string pickup, if the problems associated with active pickups sterile sound and limited headroom could be eliminated. The D Activator 7™ does just that. The original Evolution® bridge model did exactly what Steve Vai wanted it to do: kick butt and produce serious scream. Now he wants something a little more complex-the same basic tone with increased headroom and dynamics, so that the sound kills on 10 and cleans up when the volume is rolled down. With a little less power than the original Evolution®, Evo 2™ balances perfectly with the Evolution® neck model and performs equally well with high gain and vintage amps. Learn More...
