Feature:
Fantastic stereo expander feature. Really spreads the stereo sound of the L & R channels. Impressive the way it broadens the stereo effect, which is already better than any other single unit I know of due to the wedge shaped cabinet and over all quality of the amp. Plenty of input-output options. Very versatile unit as a stand alone or with other amps or instruments. Why don't other manufacturers make stereo keyboard/synth amps???
Quality:
Like I said, very high quality materials and construction. Solid, great sound, ear-bending stereo sound,(as much or as little as you want), surprisingly light, and a good looking, modest appearence.
Value:
Killer amp. Can't go wrong with it. This has been the most rewarding "risk" purchase I ever made on the internet. If they sold in music stores, I'm sure they would sell out faster than they could be restocked.
Desirability:
It took a few days to adjust to the wedge/angled front. Now that I appreciate how that design maximizes the true stereo channels, I think it looks perfect as is. The deep black and silver/grey grill looked classy yet aggressive from day one.
Sound:
Sound is excellent! Clean and adequately loud. Responsive tone controls. Brings out the tonal ranges of the many voices in my Motif ES8. Also, makes my electric guitar and GNX3 sound better than ever before. Kicks ass for guitar!
Support:
Fair. I've asked numerous questions of Motion Sound by email. They answer in a few days. Responses are a bit short, kind of cryptic, but in the end I get what I need. These have all been pre-purchase questions. Absolutely no problem with the amp the 6 months I've been using it.
Overall:
I'm going to purchase their sub because the Motif ES has so many deep voices that any amp would need a sub. I like the fact the sub has an indent in the top to nestle this amp into. Plus, I'm so happy with this amp, I'm going to give them another chance.
