Feature:
It doesn't have a huge amount of things that you can do. You can't sample with it... you can create new presets but they are going to be based off of the original ones.
Quality:
Runs fine on my mac.
Value:
It's getting into the moderate expense range as far as software synths go but the value factor is still okay.
Desirability:
Above average.
Sound:
So many of the presets are just soo soo good. They are rich and sweet and so satisfyingly evolving. It's hard to describe the sound exactly that's typical of it. I was just smiling the whole time I was auditioning the presets. Everything was just so clean sounding. It reminded me of being immersed in a professionally done soundtrack for a high budget movie. It is really that good. There are not many instruments that I think are good enough to use if I were to score a major motion picture but this would definitley be one of them. Wow.
Ease of Use:
Really pretty easy. I was surprised.
Support:
They provide 2 expansion banks for registered users that add something like 600 more presets. Each bank is like 140 mb or so and for that little of space the presets are still as good as the default bank! Very impressive!
Overall:
It has staying power, the sounds are powerful, the expansion banks are just awesome, the internal sound processing is really good the 8 gigabyte soundbank covers just about every field imaginable. It's a really noteworthy product. The best softsynth I own.
