Feature:
I guess two filters would be cooler, but only having one makes you work a little harder at it, and in the end you can do as much cool stuff as you need to. People are complaining about the cue l.e.d.s, but really at the end of the day the lights aren't just on and off, if you listen to the right part of both songs, say a strong kick, and thats the level you're trying to match, then you can do it, if you're just matching overall input voltage then for sure it won't match because one record will not be in the same condition as the next, so you listen and you watch the red led come on a little bit on the kick or a little bit somewhere else. The knobs at the back have suited me just fine, i've gotten used to it now and it's cool. These guys are right about the channel faders though, you're not buying this to scratch on the channel faders. Cutting sure, it's not super ideal but you can do it. I've already been through a few plastic faders knobs, they're more built for the shape of your finger and so fading in slowly is cool. The standard crossfader is also a bit of a stretch for say scratching, again you can do it and you can find worse, but that's not why you should use it.

Quality:
I've used two of them, mine and a my roomate also had one and on both of them the crossfader started leaking big time and needed replacing pretty early on its life.

Value:
It's a small mixer with big-boy insides, if you're not doing something where sound quality is a huge deal then you can get cheaper mixers with built-in effects for like half the price, but that filter sounds so nice filling up a big room.

Desirability:
It sounds sick and in a dark dj booth it looks sick, those blue filter lights...

Sound:
The sound quality is fine, big room, small room, recording or whatever it sounds good at any volume so you can hear all the crackles from your dirty records or the full bass and pristine highs from your clean ones.

Ease of Use:
It's pretty easy to use once you figure it all out, but there is enough to figure out with filters, eq, lfo etc that it will take you a few recordings to figure out the different things you like and then working it into your style and music genre.

Support:
No idea, never dealt with them.

Overall:
It's great, you're paying a lot as well and you don't feel like you're just paying for a name.

"Beautiful sound, poor knob placement."

Feature:
I was almost turned off of xone mixers completely by a review that stated that "4 leds were not enough". When a channel's cue is engaged on my xone 62, the large 12 segment "master" led changes to meter the cue level. This makes the precise gain adjustments a breeze. I would imagine that the 32 works the same, but don't hold me to it. I went with the 62 over the 32 for the extra inputs and because the gain knobs on the back of the 32 was the dumbest placement of any knob, on any mixer Ive ever seen IMO. Again the filters are amazing as well as the sound. The eqs could have been full kill as well.

Quality:
Built like a tank. Sound quality is top of the line.

Value:
You get what you pay for.

Desirability:
If it was not for the gains in back again I would have said 10. Also if I am wrong about the cue level showing up on the main leds as they do on the xone 62, then 4 led are not enough. Sound quality and filter functions put this mixer over the top, its just amazing how a poor placement of a knob could turn you away though.

Sound:
I own the xone 62 and have used the 32, the sound is beautiful! Filters are real nice and warm. Eq's do the job very nicely.

Ease of Use:
Gave a 9 instead of 10 because of the location of the channel gains on the back of the mixer. Besides that, everything is laid out nicely. Its not a starter mixer, but if you know how to use filters, eqs, and mix, then you wont spend more than 30 min figuring everything out.

Support:
the best until proven otherwise, and no problems them so far.

Overall:
Im sure you would want to eventually expand to more inputs and options in the future. If 3 inputs are good though, then the sound quality of the mixer alone would last you a lifetime.

Description
Docs
Is it us, or do most DJ mixers look like they've been designed by middle-aged failed guitarists who think all DJs are naughty 12 year-olds? Allen & Heath are a bit different. All the Xones are created by a design engineer with 20 years DJing experience under his belt, so they're serious consoles for creative adults.

The Xone:32 lets the DJ push the boundaries of performance, with VCF filters, a tap-programmable low-frequency oscillator and DRS memories giving unprecedented control over the music (and the crowd).

Features
3 Dual Stereo Channels - Channels have RIAA [RCA] inputs and [TRS] stereo line level inputs, with powerful 3 band EQ. All channels have 3 colour bar meter and gain control, EQ on switch and 60mm fader

Mic Channel - XLR input with gain control and 2 band EQ, including HPF. Located on front. Routes direct to mix outputs

Stereo Mix Outputs - Balanced mix outputs on TRS with level control, plus secondary RCA pre-fade outputs for recording. The mix signal is displayed on 12 segment 3 colour peak reading bar meters

Auxiliary Send - All channels have a post fade stereo auxiliary send, so a program feed to a zone is possible. The outputs are [TRS] jacks

3 Band EQ - Powerful 3 band EQ with 'asymmetric' characteristic; +6dB boost to preserve headroom and -26dB cut for creative mixing

VCA Cross Fader - High quality dual-rail gold-contact 45mm fader with contour control, reverse switch and led, plus bypass switch with led. CH1 is routed to X, CH3 is routed to Y, CH2 does not route through the x-fader

Transmute Buttons - A unique function which combines 'transform' and 'punch' DJ effects for intelligent and creative live performance. Works in conjunction with x-fader using X & Y buttons

VCF Filters with DRS Presets - Choice of High Pass, Band Pass, Low Pass or multiples e.g. notch. Resonance - adjusts Q from mild to wild. VCF slider controls filter from 100Hz to 20kHz. Channels have individual VCF on buttons with blue led. VCF can also be modulated by a low frequency oscillator with performance controls. DRSTM presets allow store and recall of 4 VCF performance settings including Channel on, VCF type, LFO on and LFO X2

LFO with Tap Tempo - Low Frequency Oscillator. Modulates VCF. Tap Tempo button allows the speed of the LFO to be set to the track. X2 switch doubles the speed. On switch activates the LFO and allows VCF slider to control depth

Engineer / DJ's Toolbox - High powered headphone output with level. Booth output on [TRS] with level. 12 segment 3 colour bar metering displays mix. Channels have 4 segment 3 colour bar meter. Channel cue / main mix fader adjusts headphone monitor to suit. Cue switches are interlocked / auto cancel

PSU - High performance internal switched-mode power supply. Universal mains input voltage
