Feature:
It just works great. It's easy to use and very intuitive compared to the several other recording programs I use.
Quality:
Extremely well written software. Intuitive, easy to use, great quality. It just looks and feels like the authors knew what they were doing, as opposed to other software I use that were either written by sound engineers that don't know software, or software engineers that don't know sound.
Value:
It came with a sound card I purchased, but I will be upgrading to the newest version in the next week.
Desirability:
Very cool, great screens, runs very fast. Some systems stall, hang, or cause blips in the recording. Never had that problem with Sound Forge.
Sound:
Quality of the sound is beautiful. You can record in very high definition (I dare say higher quality than the rest of my system).
Support:
Haven't had to deal with support.
Overall:
It's a keeper and software you won't be able to live without.

Feature:
Don't be fooled into thinking that this will allow you to use for mixing audio (Why on earth did they put a photo of an audio mixer board on the box?) This software lacks mixing capabilities. This software lacks multitrack capabilities. The extent of the "mixing" that you can do with it is limited to superimposing one pre-recorded track over another one. This should not be called Sound Forge Audio Studio. This should be called Sound Forge Audio Splicer. That's about all it's good for. It is virtually worthless for musicians.
Value:
Overpriced; Over hyped. It did, however, inspire an amusing idea for me: I should put a 7 inch reel of quarter inch audio tape, a roll of celophane adhesive tape and a razor blade into a cardboard box with a photo of a mixer board on the cover and market it as: "A Vintage Analog Audio Studio".
Sound:
The tonal quality and clarity of the sound is perfectly acceptable.
Ease of Use:
It is simple to use. The reason that it is simple to use is because this software does not do very much. I can get almost the same results with the generic sound recorder that comes free with most versions of MS Windows. Granted, Sound Forge is more precise and has a few more features.
