ART DTI Dual Transformer/Isolator Hum Eliminator

zZounds Gear Experts Say...
Put that wretched buzz out of its misery with this ART hum eliminator. With stereo XLR, 1/4" and RCA I/O, this passive unit stomps out ground loop noise.

The ART DTI Dual Transformer / Isolator uses a pair of high-performance transformers to reduce hum and ground loop noise, separating the input and output signal grounds for total isolation between two systems.

The transformers are wound for 1:1 unity gain, and have an extremely flat and wide frequency response. Even at high signal levels, they provide clean, transparent sound.

With XLR, 1/4" TRS, and RCA connectors on all inputs and outputs, the DTI is flexible and easy to integrate. Featuring a rugged aluminum enclosure and a passive design that doesn’t require external power, the DTI is built for years of reliable use.

We provided lighting and sound for another DJ a few weeks ago. We had a bad hum when we connected their laptop to our system. We worked on the grounding and minimized it but it sill bothered me. We have used our system with many laptops in the past but had never had this problem before. I purchased ART DTI Hum Eliminator. The two channel is great for most applications and I recommend every DJ and sound tech have one or two in their gig bag. I also purchased the 8 channel rack version for our outputs to eliminate potential ground loops with my powered speakers and subs. Great isolation transformer at a very good price for the quality.
