"THIS GUITAR RULES OVER ALL OTHER GUITARS"

Feature:
the knobs are not top hats or speed knobs they are like special knobs its actually really cool and they are easy to use the switch for the pickup is a little shorter than the epiphone switches but its very easy to switch even inbetween songs. once again the perloid tuners are awesome and the trapezoid pearl inlays on the neck jsut look so good but when you play you cant feel them there like on other guitars o it always stays in tune good gibson tuning machines and the input jack on the front of the guitar is better because you can sit down when playing through an amp without beding the chord or breaking something. The lackard finish on the back of the neck is great it never gets messy or anything so you cna go up and dwon the fretboard with incredible ease great guitar.

Quality:
GIBSON A++++++

Value:
I just got it but i know gibsons keep their value as long as you dont scratch its or bang it or break it. But it is incredibly valuable

Desirability:
It is incredibly desireable the shape is great. But when you actually physically see the guitar the red of the mahogany on the guitar really just blowes you away its really a work of art.

Sound:
its works amazingly with any pedals and gives an awesome sound through marshalll amps it can play anything from purple haze to stairway to heaven the sound clean sounds a little like a les paul but when the distortion is on it sounds better than any other guitar. There is also that adjustable bridge which is also incredibly useful and the peraloid tuning knobs are awesome. Basically it gives so good of a sound that is is worth the money.

Support:
I dont need to call support nothing ever goes wrong with these things

Overall:
well this is the top of the line product I dont have anything else to go for maybe when i sell my other guitars maybe a fender stratocaster because its a strat and i lieke the way it plays but I wouldnt see the point of getting another guitar except for desirablity If I did but another guitar it would be another Gibson SG standard.

"A standard in the industry. A one of a kind sound."

Feature:
The guitar came with a truss adjustment tool, and a hardshell case. The dual humbucking setup gives you a good range of possibilities, especially when you consider that each pickup has its own independent controls. Only the highest quality woods are used, and the chrome hardware and gibson tuners make this guitar one of my favorites. I have five guitars A les paul, a strat, a jackson, a charvel, and now the sg. All are great, and all are high-end,but this one stands out!

Quality:
You would be hard pressed to find many instruments as high quality as this one. It's a gibson, and just as their slogan states: "Only a gibson is good enough". It doesn't matter if you are buying a Les Paul Standard, Sg standard, a standard es-335, or whatever; they put standard in the name, because they are the standard by which all other guitars should be judged! There are other guitars that are better, but they all say Gibson on the headstock too.

Value:
It may seem like a huge amount of money to spend over $1400 on any guitar. BUT! When that investment of $1400 is on something that sounds this good, will last for decades, and most likely well beyond your own lifetime; then it doesn't seem so silly huh?

Desirability:
When other guitars that are made by other companies, have a body style that is refered to by the name of a gibson's guitar; then you know the body style of the original is something special.

Sound:
If you are lookin for a crunchy humbucking sound, then this guitar is for you. The sustain and sheer bite that this instrument exudes makes it no wonder why it's the only style of guitar Angus young ever used. Just plug into a Marshall tube amp, and you've got the tone dreams are made of.

Ease of Use:
Unless you're looking for a single coil sound, or a chunkier tone like a les paul, then this guitar will modify to nearly any sound or style of music you could imagine! The neck is very fast and easy to play, if you like a faster neck. If you prefer a chunkier neck, then you may want to look elsewhere. It's all a matter of preference, I like to play lead and play it fast. This guitar is very well suited for that. Not to say that's all its for, but it excels at lead sounds, and playability.

Support:
If you need the support, they've got it!

Overall:
I will never get rid of this guitar. I will always love it. I will still buy other guitars, just as most people who love them usually do. But the sg standard has a sound all its own that can only be achieved perfectly by playing an sg standard. What else needs to be said.
