Feature:
For the money the features are fine. I think the Dp01-fx is a little too much for only a few more features
Quality:
so far so good. Bought a factory resealed model. Could not tell the difference between that and new exceptt the owners manual had been read
Value:
No need to say more
Desirability:
A nice one would be noce if I could justify the expense
Sound:
Sound is what you would expect from a CD. No comparison to tape
Ease of Use:
Not quite as easy as my old Tascam 4 track tape. However for a digital recorder it is very easy to use. Took me 5 minutes to download song and burn to a CD
Support:
Not needed yet
Overall:
I will keep this until the technology changes dramatically

Feature:
Pretty good for the price here. The best feature is the dedicated mixdown track. You can record 8 seperate tracks and then master them all using this feature, really nice. The fact that theres no light on the lcd screen is terrible. How much mor eoculd that possibly cost tascam to put in? really makes it a pain to use this thing at night.
Quality:
I worry about how it will hold up. The flimsy input and output jacks worry me. Other than that, so far so good.
Value:
The overall value is really good. This product is not the same as using it's 2000 dollar couunterpart, and thats why some records are that price and this one is 300 bucks. And it gets the job done. I went from my multitrack casette recorder, at $159 to this at $300, the difference is huge.
Desirability:
This is a strange question, doesnt really apply to this product
Support:
Never had to use it yet.
Overall:
Overall this is a very good product for the price. If you are just getting into recording, this will take you a long way. Not all the way, but it is an afforable, respectable bridge to the next step. If i had to choose again, I would probably save a little more cash and get the one with the CD burner right in it.
