Feature:
Everything it should have. It's an EVH replica

Quality:
Top notch. Very nicely done. Typical J/C custon shop quality.

Value:
Overpriced at $2640 well worth $2000. How bad do you want it?

Desirability:
Stripes. If your an Eddie fan this is a must have

Sound:
high output p/u. Bright body with burst of attack. Harmonics jump off neck

Ease of Use:
Screw on the trem arm, turn the volume (tone) knob and go.

Support:
Don't buy a guitar for customer service, but theese guys are pitiful

Overall:
Bought three. All look and play like a dream

"Great Guitar, but one expensive paint job"

Feature:
I like the D tuna and Floyd Rose

Quality:
The truss rod insert on the back of the neck is not flush with the neck. This does not affect performance, but for $2,639 I would expect much better quality. The finish and everything else seems to be good.

Value:
Great guitar, but way over priced in my opinion. I think you are basically paying $1,000 for the Eddie Van Halen paint job, which you could do yourself.

Sound:
the sound is very nice. good sustain. The tone is a bit limited due to having just the one pickup.

Overall:
I've already order two more guitars. (but, that is my sickness :) )

Description
The wait is over! Legendary guitarist, Edward Van Halen, is back in the fold and is once again working with Charvel to create hand built replicas of his original striped guitar designs. EVH Art Series guitars feature custom-striped basswood bodies, a special-wound humbucking pickup, Original Floyd Rose tremolo and a compound-radius, maple neck carved from his original specs. Even the volume pot has been replaced with a "Tone" knob just like Eddie's! These guitars are every bit worth the wait and are available in Black and White, Black and Yellow, and Red, White and Black stripes.
