Pitch black and rock solid, the Evans Onyx 2 Ply Drumhead is a combination of a fresh aesthetic, and appealing sound and look for tom and snare drums.

Created with the original intent of developing a black alternative to the standard G2 Clear and Coated drumheads, the Onyx features two plies of 7.5 mil film that deliver enhanced durability while making the drums cut live. A micro-clear coating gives the Onyx a matte black appearance, producing more low-end and a punchier attack.
