Schecter's affordable S1 is a tone powerhouse with a Mahogany body and twin Duncan Design humbuckers. Schecter's excellent finishes always make their guitars look great and this one has the features to back it up. The S1 Flame has a Maple neck, a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard (jumbo frets) with flame inlays, a non-trem bridge, and superb Grover tuners.

Sound
The guitar sounded good right out of the box. Then I bought some hotter pickups and this guitar really came into it's own. The neck pickup split is a really nice feature and makes this guitar very versatile.
