Feature:
The hardware is pretty good, the mounts for the toms are really sturdy, especially if ya lock em in place. Don't go by the other reviews on the
hi hat stand, the spring has held up well for the 2 months I have owned it.
Quality:
Solid and sturdy, no problems yet with anything (and I move em to band practice at least once a week).
Desirability:
It just a drum set, but the metallic claret (purple) color looks better in person than in web site pics.
Sound:
The heads are OK for what comes on the set, just use a little weather stripping (home depot, lowes-saves$$$$) to muffle the sound to your liking. I do recommend getting some decent hi-hat and other cymbals. What comes with it ain't the best and the 18" crash/ride has no sustain.
Support:

Overall:
I have added a few things already, cymbals for now. I plan on getting 2 ply heads next and a roc-n-soc throne.

Feature:
My parents got the set so some of the parts got lost. I found that peavy did not use standard threads on anything so I had to hunt for replacement parts. (Lost cymbal and throne nuts)
Quality:
The finish is peeling off after a few years. Other than that it looks good and won't break. Doesn't sound great but its solid
Value:
Good beginner set get new cymbals and heads. I wish there was a boom stand and the cymbal stands were a little heavier (they fall over playing punk beats).
Sound:
Personally, I got it and it sounds as good as my friend's CB set I'm using now. However, after looking around it definitely sounds like a beginner set.
Toms:
The toms aren't too bad, I perfer mounts on the lugs, and promounts not bass drum through mounts.
I use the floor tom for stuff like Paramore, and Underoath, and it is perfect! The other toms leave room to be desired.
Snare:
I don't like the snare at all, the head gave out after a month of regular use. Even with Remo Emperors on there, it still sounds like a beginner concert snare, not a rock snare. Too metallic, I prefer a wood snare, just my pref.
Bass:
Not too bad for a shallow bass drum. Get a muffler on there, but watch out its resonance deadens quick since it is so shallow.
Overall:
I have played drums off and on for about 5 years on this set and it has been a work horse and now I am looking for a deeper sound since I know the tone I want. Good beginner set, price wise you pay less than what you get, but in drums that's not much when a snare can easily set you back more than this set is worth.
