Feature:
Love the layout of the BX-3... just like the Hammond B-3... which Hammond doesn't use themselves on the XK-3c... which is odd to say the least. Everything is where is's supposed to be and the look is a classic / modern B3 in one package.
Quality:
The build and quality are first rate... my only complaint is that the stand doesn't break down and fold for transportation like the Hammond XK-Pro-system. Too bad... because the look is so B3 with a modern twist! On the road you have to use another keyboard stand so you lose the look and the solid feel. It wouldn't be hard to have the end pieces designed to either fold in or come off instead of having to spend the time breaking it down with all the screws.
Value:
Priceless... especially when you compare it to what's on the market!
Desirability:
The BX-3 is what any Hammond B3 player wants to see. It's very hard for us Hammond Guys to give up the big piece of furniture, which has a lot to do with the whole experience. Just ask any Hammond Man and he will tell you! But. I have to say... the KORG BX-3 has the look and the feel with extras thrown in for good measure. Yes... I want it along with the OASYS. With these two instruments... there is NO need for anything else in your rig!
Sound:
If you close your eyes, it's a Hammond B3... I know... I have owned a couple of them... I don't use pedals or a bench... so it's the best for touring... also... you can double up the drawbars and use 18 instead of 9... so the sound is awesome! The Leslie feature is the best I have heard to date... KORG has it down to a science, especially the feel of the keyboards.
Ease of Use:
Like I said... it's set up like a Hammond B3... only better! Great Keyboards... easy smears and slides on the waterfall manuals... fast action and it's MIDI.
Support:
I called KORG and was put right through to a tech to answer a question about the MIDI on the BX-3. I sent an email once and had my questions answered right away... Very Professional!
Overall:
Knowing KORG and their ability to upgrade through simple downloads with a laptop... there is no need to replace it with another organ. The only thing I would want to buy is if KORG would redo the stand which I mentioned above... keep the look but build so it folds.

Feature:
Korg did their home work on this one. The drawbars, CV knob(yes a knob)! are all in the correct places. Even the leslie switch is in the right spot.
Quality:
Well the bottom of this product is made of particle board and only the end pieces are real wood. Korg should have used real wood ,, but then again, that would have made it heavier.
Value:
Priceless if you don't like hiring roadies to move your B-3.
Desirability:
Those waterfall keys are the best.
Sound:
I have played Hammond Clones from Roland, Hammond, Voce, and even Nord. I have many hours of experiance with each of these. I can attest that the Korg Cx-and Bx-3s are the best hammond clones on the market. They are both miles ahead of the New Hammond xk-3 as well. There is a fatness to the sound and the drawbars work exactly like a B3. The leslie sim is also better than any toher that I've heard. I would reccmomend this product for anyone who is looking for that sound, but has thus far been unsuccessful.
Support:
Very good in this area.. Korg is the best.
