"MAN! You have got to check this axe out!"

Feature:
I was out looking for a beginer guitar for my daughter and after checking out several used ones the Peavey Raptor Plus EXP nearly jumped into my arms. I had the option to buy the package but opted out and bought the guitar only. After throwing a few licks on it at the store I was sold. Mine didn't have a tremlo bar but I think that may be a dealer oversight.

Quality:
For the price it has to be one of the best "starter guitars" I have ever tried. It's been a long hard road finding a quality instrument that allows a ten year old not to be intimidated and also allows for creativity and curiosity to flourish. Kudos!

Value:
Absolutely!

Desirability:
If "looks" are important then they've done a decent guitar. Good finish on the body and the flat finish on the neck allows for ease in playability.

Sound:
I was thouroughly suprised with the sound quality of this supposedly "inexpensive" guitar. I'm pushing it through a mini-Marshall MG 15 and am astounded with the response! I'm going to try a bigger rig (amp) and I'll let you know.

Ease of Use:
As a professional acoustic player (30 + years)I found the versatility very accomadating. My daughter who is ten didn't have a problem with the playability. It's not an intimidating set-up and soon she was jammin her little heart out. I was amazed at the ease of use. I may buy her another one and keep this one for myself!

Support:
I'm going to find out.

Overall:
I am very pleased with this guitar so far. There are a few changes I will do. The set screws in the bridge are a little long. Tops are sharp. I will machine the bottoms down to bridge height. (No Pete Townsend till I do)The action is a little high for a beginner. I may need to shim the neck to achieve a little more speed and playability. The neck width is ideal for little hands. Great guitar!

"THIS GUITAR IS FREAKIN HOT!"

Feature:
Mine came with the tremolo arm and everything. I fell that it is one of the best guitars that I have and I own a couple gibsons! This guitar just kicks butt.

Quality:
The product is made really well. The quality is really good. The lood is great and I would not and have not done any thing to it and it was my firs guitar ever for over 3 years. The only things I have done to it is change broken strings and tune it.

Value:
the value is really good and it probably still will be for years to come.

Desirability:
Really sexy and it has a head turning look. It has the origanal look to it.

Sound:
This guitars sound is just sounding like any other guitar, but I have had it for 2 freakin years and have not have a problem with it. To get the best sound try to play more down towards the bottom.

Ease of Use:
The finger-board is the perfect size and it is so darn easy to play that I sometimes play it at talent shows rather than any of my gibsons.

Support:
I have had no problems with it at all.

Overall:
This product from peavey is better than some of my non-beginner guitars from gibson. It is really great.
