ESP LTD AC5E Xtone Acoustic-Electric Guitar

No longer available at zZounds
The AC5E is ESP's affordable guitar that's designed for beginners. It features a built-in preamp with EQ and tuner which makes staying in tune easy.

The ESP LTD AC-5E Xtone Acoustic Electric is the most affordable model in the acoustic line, and designed for guitarists who are just starting out. Like the rest of the LTD Xtone acoustic series, it's a mini-jumbo shape with a cutaway, so reaching those notes high on the fretboard is easy. Just because the AC-5E's price is low doesn't mean it skimps on high-end features, like a spruce top and mahogany back and sides. It includes a built-in ESP preamp with EQ and tuner, which keeps you sounding good whether or not you're plugged in.

Esp makes some very nice and extremely well built instruments and this one is an example of just that. I own 2 other ESP LTD electrics (kh602 and sa2) which helped determine where I should go for an acoustic. ESP had just introduced the xtone acoustic line, which I was iffy about the xtone series since it was so new.when I got this guitar, I was completely blown away with how well built this guitar was. Neck needed no adjustment, intonation was perfect, no fret buzz, factory strings needed to be changed but that is expected from factory strings. For $200 this is completely worth buying
