Sound
First off, my regards to the zzounds customer service. they are great, efficient, and no hassle. That being said, this recorder is terrible. every recording comes with a high frequency, static noise in the background. I know it was not my system components, because when we used our handheld digital recorder on the exact same settings we got clear recordings. I returned the first one i got and the second one they sent had the exact same problems. Statistically, i don't think that's coincidence. I'm no pro, but i've been doing home and church recording for several years now. I tried every possible setting on the recorder, adjusting the recording gain, the mp3 encoding setting, and no luck. every recording came out bad. i'm not here to dispute other people's experience with it. If you've heard good things, good luck and beware
