"The way a guitar is supposed to be."

Feature:
The tuners are high grade as is the finish. The features on the guitar itself are exactly what one expects when one purchases a Gibson. Nice warranty. Even the case that comes with this guitar is fantastic...sturdy and very well made-nice on the inside to protect the guitar along with a 'topsheet'.

Quality:
I can notice some small blade marks (from saws I assume) and some minor imperfections in the finish but nothing that stands right out...unlike some of the models that I tried with bound fingerboards where I could see the sloppy filing marks everywhere.

Value:
As far as I am concerned this guitar is worth its price. I have 3 guitars which were all over $1300.00 including this one and it is worth the money. I tried a few other guitars that were much more expensive and some that were not as expensive and this guitar won out over the rest...a close second was the Smartwood Les Paul...I didn't rate it as a 10 in this category because there is always room for better value and some people get lucky with a great guitar for very little...

Desirability:
This guitar was a purely hedonistic purchase for me. I wanted a Gibson since I was 17 and had the means to do it but never did. I went for it after playing this Les Paul Studio...It has pure appeal...

Sound:
The tone of this guitar is classic. That means it will never go out of style and in fact had a large part in inventing the style. It is full and inspiring. Exactly what I have always expected. Straight into a tube amp this thing is a killer. My particular amp is the Traynor Custom Valve 40 WR. Fantastic combination.

Support:
No contact...no comment.

Overall:
I'm keeping this forever. I would indeed buy another and may buy another. These guitars are attractive on a subconscious level as well as a conscious level. I'd like to have 10 of them. This guitar actually FELT better than the $2200.00+ guitars...therefor I was happy to see that it was a lot cheaper...I also couldn't find any medium-level flaws in it (only very minor) and I can't say that for the more expensive guitars.

"KNEBWORTH....1979....JIMMY PAGE playing at the top of his game....scorching leads and explosive riffs from a master of the strin"

Feature:
the humbuckers compliment each other extraordinarily, and the '59 neck is very comfortable to play.

Quality:
the studio i own is as well put together as my martin d-16-gt in every way. i never have had any trouble with anything but strings...as you will with any guitar.

Value:
i have played alot of "inexpensive" guitars, and would never trade the sound and feel of my studio for the affordability of an inferior guitar

Desirability:
it's a great axe with awesome sound. the wide range of music that you can cover with just the basics (the studio itself with a good amp) beats many other guitars with any accessory , as far as im concerned it is the best rock guitar available

Sound:
one of the best sounding guitars i've ever played. if anyone has doubts about the versatility of this guitar, watch jimmy page and led zeppelin - live at knebworth in their last performance together as a band.

Support:
no contact with company yet

Overall:
any guitarist will always want to find that "perfect sound" he or she may be looking for, i think that my gibson meets most of my needs herein, but you can't say that you will never buy any other kind or style. it all depends on the events of your life, but i will say that it is the best for me right now.

Gibson celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1994 with the spirit of Orville still going strong. Gibson's combination of traditional craftsmanship and innovative technology has made Gibson the only company that produces industry standard models in every style of fretted instrument, from electric and acoustic guitars to mandolins, banjos, and resonator guitars.

The Gibson Gold Warranty carries on the tradition of the limited lifetime warranty introduced by the company's founders. It represents their commitment to producing the world's finest musical instruments and providing complete customer satisfaction.
