Feature:
I can't really ask for more features. The few things that were lacking were dealt with in the updates. Key up velocity as a modulation source was one of them. I was pretty surprised when they added a vocodor. There are more features in this synth than I could have dreamed up in a year.
Quality:
Wall-wart power supply.
Value:
A grand for this thing is a bargain.
Desirability:
Very stylish, even with the lights turned off.
Sound:
This is a great-sounding synth. I'd give my Jupiter 8 the same rating, if that gives you any idea. It might sound too bright to some, but once it's in the mix it sounds perfect. You really can't do much better. I'd give it a 10, but there is always room for improvement. All of my analog synths seem to have a particular sound that they do better than the virus. My Juno has better sonar pings, my MS-20 has a particular square-wave bass sound I can't get with my Virus b, and my 303 has that filter . . . But I use my virus more than all of my analog synths put together. I almost never use my Jupiter 8 anymore. I used to have a 6-panel Serge!
This is a very musical-sounding synth. Furthermore, the complexity is such that those who delve into it's complexities will develop completely different ways of working and relating to this machine. It's a true instrument in that regard.
Support:
Never had to deal with them.
Overall:
If I had a house fire this is the first thing I'd replace.

Feature:
Look at it do you not see the knobs? Would you rather click through menus and have one or two assignable knobs? If you have Alesis, Korg, Roland, or Yamaha synths in your studio, this will beat it down period.
Quality:
Nothing is wimpy about it. Metal casing, wood sides, buttons and knobs are strong.
Value:
Well do you want a polished plastic turd for half the price or this beast for under $1000? Be patient, keep saving, and buy a Virus you'll love it! Or buy another plastic turd and I'll see it on ebay in six months when you get sick of its cheesy sound.
Desirability:
Hell yeah I do! Waiting for Tax return to buy it.
Sound:
This isn't a toy and it isn't real analog sound. Close enough for me and a million other professionals though. I have the Virus A and this one punches it in the mouth as far as sound goes. I can't believe people would rate this 7 out of 10.
Support:
Never had a problem to deal with customer support. Hmmm, I wonder what that says about the quality control of there products? I have yet to find gremlins in the OS.
Overall:
This synth was built for electronic music. All types including hip hop. Listen to Dr Dre's "Let Me Ride" you can get that same sounding synth as well as dirty techno monsters.
