Feature:
All the effects are great on this rig. I love them all and they sound very nice. The footswitch is built like a rock and will never (should never) break. Seperate gain knobs for the 2 overdrive channels are nice as well as the seperate low/mid/high knobs for each channel as well.
Quality:
Only broken down on me once, the circuit board on the inside fried just before a show when I was letting the head warm up. (I'm used to tube amps). Don't leave this on for extended periods of time without playing it, you might run into the same problem...
Value:
I'm going with a 5 here because it might be good for some of you, but if you're looking for that seriously high gain, or hard rock heavy tones, DO NOT GET THIS AMP. This is for the more classic rock, low gain, or if you just like to sit at home and play.
Desirability:
The sex appeal on this? This is like getting excited watching bum fights on Jerry Springer. Not very pretty.
Sound:
I play a lot of Metal and hard rock. I didn't like the sound this amp has. It sounds pretty muddy at high end volumes and it's very hard to throw a bit of mid-range in the mix to make your tone stand out a bit more. If you are in a band with someone who has a tube amp and you have this (in my opinion) peice of junk, you aren't going to hear yourself unless you crank this baby. I turn my volume all the way up and the other guitarist in my band is using a Randall 100w tube amp and he's still sitting at half volume. The clean channel is vibrant and beautiful sounding however. Hence the reason why I gave it a 4. If you are to buy this amp. Don't expect to be a lead guitarist in a band. Perfect amp for sitting at home and practicing however because of the nice built in effects.
Ease of Use:
This amp is pretty easy to plug in and start figuring out. All the different effects are right there at your fingertips and you can start plucking away at those new tunes. The only reason I give this a 7/10 is it's really hard to dial in the specific tone you want unless you're looking for something completely new and you haven't discovered it yet. This amp sounds like no bands that I listen to. It'd be pretty good for a classic rock / clean tone, but I don't deal with that stuff.
Support:
It's Marshall. They make sure you are happy with their product even though 90% of the time they don't have to. Every other Marshall product I've owned (JCM 800, 900, and 2000) have been more than great. Last for years. Thats the Marshall way.
Overall:
If you're gigging, I highly suggest a tube amp. There are a few good solid state ones out there, but they're pretty rare to find. If this amp were stolen (which it was) I would never think about buying another one. I considered this amp a good at home practice amp that I could beat up on and let my friends used when they didn't want to bring their own equipment over. hehe. I once again give this a 5, People like their own tone, but for hard rock and metal.. this one's not for me.

Feature:
The Foot Pedal is awesome and simple with a good intuitive layout. I bought two more and modded them with 3PDT switches and jacks, for true bypass of my vintage effects. One pedal set for my Acoustic/Electrics, Strats, Tele / single coil effects & rack the second for Les Paul, Explorer, and Flying V / hummbuckers effects & rack. Works Great! The 4 channels are phenomenal. The Digital Effects are nice, giving very good but somewhat basic Reverb, Flanging, Chorus, and Delay. Too bad there wasn't a second edit knob and feature for both of the two effects lines.
Quality:
I have been playing and teaching guitar for more than 30 years. I think this is the last amp I'll ever buy. Being an electronic tech / engineer I had to open her up right away. She is built for the road. If I were traveling, I would have a good road case for it. Just because of the Ooops Factors of the road...
I got the AVT because I liked the idea of only having a single tube to deal with. This generation and model of AVT sound quality is between 90-95% balls-to-the-walls Marshall. As for the "Fit and Finish" the AVT 150-H is beautiful, and awesome to look at... I just wish the case was the full standard width of my 1960 Lead, but I have seen the AVT cabs and understand why Marshall went this way...
Value:
This was well worth what I paid!!!
Desirability:
With everything you have herein you could practice, teach, and play live or even record with out any other equipment. This is an all in one wonder. I use the effects rack and pedals to show students what they are all about and because I've been collecting them for so long, I'll never get rid of them...
Sound:
The only reason I am not giving this amp a 10 is because it doesn't make me play any better but I do sound great. I have a collection of nearly 200 vintage pedals and I don't need any of them anymore. This amp is great Clear, mild OD in OD 1, and screaming' in OD 2. The Acoustic Simulator is cool but I have heard better...
Support:
I have owned many marshall products, never needed service. It's a Marshall
Overall:
If this Amp were lost or stolen I would most definitely replace it right away.
