Ultra low-noise design 22-input 2/2-bus mic/line mixer with premium IMP mic preamplifiers and 24-bit multi-FX processor.

We recommend this product instead:

The XENYX 2222FX has 22 inputs and 3 Aux Sends for each channel. Additionally, 2 subgroups with separate outputs have been incorporated for routing flexibility. The new XENYX Mic Preamp matches the sound quality, transparency, headroom and even the dynamic range of boutique-style, stand-alone mic preamps. Neo-classic "British" EQ brings back the warmth and musicality of those '60s and '70s mega-console desks that made music history. The XENYX FX mixers incorporate a new studio-grade 24-bit FX processor. Learn More...

Feature:
In my estimation, NOTHING compares at this price point regarding features. This unit is packed with features that I need not reiterate for you here. This unit is very well suited for a small to moderate-sized home studio or a small to small/moderate live application.
Quality:
I have only had the mixer for three months, but to this point I have had no trouble at all with it. It feels and looks fairly sturdy. It will sit in my home studio, so I don't expect too much in the way of heavy wear. I would be a bt afraid to take this on long road trips unless it was cased well.
Value:
Unbeatable value for your money with this one. I had done my shopping before my purchase and did not find anything comparable to this mixer.
Desirability:
Nothing too sexy or exotic about this mixer, which I think is a positive trait. The features are tuned to give you just what you need for a small to moderately sized home studio or live application.
Sound:
I have been using this mixer in a home studio environment for about 3 months. The sound quality and noise level is unparalleled in anything in this price rance. The sound FX are useful for live application in my opinion, however not for recording as they do introduce significant noise. If you watch your FX input levels on the mixer itself, you can overcome mosdt of this problem.
Overall:
In this price range, with these features, the absolute best in it's class. Of course there are "better" mixers, but you will pay MUCH more for them.
