If you are on the fence from my stand point - TRY ONE - you'll like it. At 249.00 I wouldn't hesitate if I needed to replace it.
Sound
I was looking for a bluesly/jazzy Hollowbody sound and bought this one because of the blowout price... Boy am I glad I did. This guitar sounds wonderful - the pickups are said to be Alnico V Humbuckers but they look like smaller Toaster style pickups not full size HB. Well these pickups sound great combined with the Hollowbody sound. This is the sound I was truely looking for and rarely do you stumble across it.
Features
The workmanship is excellent the inlays are beautiful. The clear pickguard isn't my favorite but it is OK for now. The neck is thin and perfect for my small hands. The reviewer before complained about the pickguard - I think he forgot to take the plastic film over the clear guard which clouds the image.
Ease of Use
Both pickups are useful and I'm actually surprised by the bridge pickup I didn't expect it to be that useful but you can get some decent Rockabilly sounds too.
