I love my B6. I am a professional bassist. My credits include, David Sanborn, The Brothers Johnson, DAP - The Digital Audio Projekt, George Duke, Eric Marienthal, Chris Standring, Candy Dulfer, Agape Spiritual Center, The Jazz Junkies, Mindi Abair, Jennifer Batten....I love the B6. I use the XLR out for all my gigs to go to the front of house as it sounds better to my ears than any DI Boxes I've had to use. The tuner is big, well lit and easy to see on dark stages. The Octaver tracks super great even down low. The chorus is thick and clear, the fact that I can tweak the overall board eq a bit before going into a backlined amp is great because in places like South Africa and Estonia, sometimes the amps aren't the best and need a little more pre dialing. Once I opened for Earth Wind & Fire, playing with Dave Koz and had to play the show in a big ampitheater on a 75 watt practice amp because the other guy who shall remain nameless, needed both SVT rigs in case one went down, so all they could scrape together was a practice amp..I went xlr out to the front of house and asked for bass in my monitor. When I heard what was coming back, I boosted the lows, cut the mids and boosted a tiny bit of hi's and tweaked the practice amp as well and the gig went just fine. These features alone make the B6 worth it in my book, but there's a lot more to it than just these things. The DI button gives you different curves to the shape of the sound which works good for various situations too. Aldo the fact that I don't have to worry about pedal knobs not being in the exact right place for effects and that I can throw the whole board in the front pocket of my gig bag and head out is convenient too Mostly, I love the sound! I contacted zoom with 3 suggestions I thought would be awesome: 1) if along with the loop player/recorder you could send a click/drum machine track down a seierate mono line to a drummers mixer/in ears setup. It would be great because then you could have it running on a certain song, loop on the fly in time with live drums because he's locked yo.the internal rhythm nachine, and the keys, guitar & the entire band are in sync and now you can play over your own grooves adding plucks or slides to your looping line, then shut it off and jump on the bridge or the chorus section and go back to it fir the verse. I think it's a good idea anyway. They didn't think so.2) if they lost the efx bypass button and made it a fifth effect, so you'd have 5 effects, 4 is great..one more would be ideal!! 3) if they put two pedal switches on there and added ,better a Bluetooth or USB-c corded page turner for iPads Anyway the B6 is a pro unit and I personally use it for every gig and session. Peace out,André
