"I am a professional session guitarist and indie producer and I highly suggest you try this little magic box Zoom has created. It"
I am a gear freak so I am always trying new stuff, but this will be at the top of my favorites list for a very long time.
Sound
This has a 12AX7 built in and it really makes the difference.
The modeling is also spot on. This thing rocks.
Ease of Use
The software creates a virtual studio with a menu of amps and mic'ing options and a cool selection of effects. Everything you need to record the best guitar tracks. It does everything but play your guitar for you.
Quality
It's a well made solid piece of gear.
Value
Yes indeed. I mean once you hear your tracks back you will swear you had a room full of the best tube amps all mic'd up in a room with great acoustics.
Manufacturer Support
This is my first Zoom product and I contacted their tech support
once with a software install issue and they got right back to me with a solution.
The Wow Factor
It's got a 60's retro look like an older piece of gear, which I prefer.

I tried using it in windows 7. The driver is not supported and it's been a waste of money.

"White Noise"
A waste of money.
Sound
It would sound great if it weren't for the attrocious white noise that is always present, even after downgrading the driver as per ZOOMs website.
Features
Well, it has good features but they are useless due to the white noise.
Ease of Use
I guess it's easy to use but not easy to figure out why it generates so much white noise.
Quality
Seems well built but shame on ZOOM for releasing a product with such a major issue with... white noise.
Value
Looks good value on paper but all you are really paying for is a box full of white noise.
Manufacturer Support
Terrible manual. The website does offer a solution to the white noise issue (downgrade the driver) but it didn't work well enough.
The Wow Factor
It had appeal in the shop. But no appeal once I got it home and realised after several hours that I couldn't get rid of the white noise.

"USB ISSUES..BUYER BEWARE"
actually i think a 3 is giving it too much credit, yes i may sound bitter but with no help online, no resolve and no proper forums for this product your crazy to buy this import
Sound
the software is good, the big downfall with this little thing is if your usb port doesnt support it, then you will recieve major buzzing sounds, ive reformatted my pc , downgraded to xp from vista, and wiped my pc clean just to resolve a possible issue on my behalf, well it turns out zoom had a faulty usb driver, so half of the people using this wont be able to record at 24 bit, instead there ONLY solution was to patch your usb host controller so it removes the noise but at a cost of only being able to record at 16 bits, for them to have a solution on thier website, i knew this isnt an isolated problem! none the less my powerhouse pc which is capabable of doing almost everything but type for me , cant seam to get this horrible little box to work..all in all its going to be a gamble ( you do like to take a chance dont you?)
Features
good guitar sim software included, but thats about it
Ease of Use
plug and play....buyer beware
Quality
3 on a scale of 10
Value
not worth it
Manufacturer Support
little to no support, i contacted zoom about this issue they just sent me a link to their distributors and said return the product
The Wow Factor
nice look, nothing inside it though

Zoom ZFX S2T Interface Customer Review
Seeing as the software package includes a demo version of Guitar Rig 3, I would take it as a hint that its own software doesn't quite cut it. Get a Toneport, they cost as little as quarter of the ZFX's price, and come with actual usable software.
