When I first used the H4n to record one of our gigs, it was a little difficult lowering the mike stand to stop and start, positioning the recorder, etc. Once I went through all that I ordered the remote. Of course Zzounds is amazing and I had the order in hand within 48 hours. My first surprise was the extension cable that came with it. So, Saturday night we gigged and I set up the recorder, routed the remotes cable to the table our friends were sitting and after a short 'how to' session, we put the remote to use. There was no moving anything around this time and the controls worked perfectly. This is a great addition to the H4n and I recommend it highly.
