You read good and bad reviews. I never go by a review. I buy what I like. I have 2 other ZBT cymbals and I love the sound, tone. The hats are no exception. Love them. They are Zildjian.

The ZBT hi- hats have a great sound. These hats have a great "chick" and excellent stick definition. The produce a very balanced open hi-hat sound as well. I would recommend these hats to anyone.

Musical Background:

Been playing drums since I was 15. Moch older now. Jam at home.

"A little disappointed"

I heard mixed reviews going into this purchase but I thought what could it hurt, Zildjian is a household name. Unfortunately, It was just a little too metallic sounding for me personally. I ended up putting the bottom hat (which is just a bit thicker than the top) on the top side and I'll admit after a while it has grown on me. Not a bad pair of hi hats at all. I just think if you're going for a higher quality sound, Zildjians higher end cymbals would likely be more pleasing. For the price and look (they do look nice with my kit) they're a decent value.

Musical Background:

I've played on a drum kit for about 10 years now. I remember taking up interest and drumming on objects as early as 10 though.

Musical Style:

Blues. Reggae. Doom Metal. Hip hop. Punk.
