I saw another review stating this cymbal was flimsy, but I disagree. I was incredibly skeptical buying a Zildjian for less than two bills, but boy I'm glad I took the chance. I got the 18 inch crash, and it sounds like a decent, versatile cymbal. Nothing special, but its a perfect first crash. The bell sounds really nice too, and it reacts nicely from big hits to small taps. I could see someone using this as a crash/ride if you're precise enough. Not too loud, not too quiet. Its thick enough to where I'm not afraid I'm going to break it, but thin enough that its not ear piercingly loud. I really pound on this cymbal, since I'm in a alt rock/punk band and I get a little wild during practice, and it really holds its own. I was using a 14 inch meinl crash for a while, and oh boy, this is a wonderful upgrade. Its nothing special, but this is a perfectly priced, great entry level cymbal. It sounds good, feels good, looks great. I'll definitely upgrade when I have more money, but I couldn't be happier with it.

Initially, I was pretty pleased with this cymbal, but within the first 15 minutes of adding it to my kit, it developed a pretty significant warp. Never have I seen a cymbal develop such an intense warp so quickly. Now I understand that things crashes are a bit more fragile than other cymbals but I didn't play it any harder than I do any of my other thin crashes yet all my other ones are still perfectly fine after months of use, so I think it's safe to say it isn't operator error. Overall, wouldn't recommend this product unless you play extremely soft.
