These cabs are awesome. I bought 2 at an auction for $400 & consider it the best $400 ive spent in a long time. Im pushing them w/a Behringer EPQ2000, bridged. Hitting them with a 1000 each and can say they do their job extremely well. I DJ 5 nights a week in a very large club for 5-6 hours each night and thes cabs keep right on pumping. Im running Yamaha club series 15's on top with a Peavey IPR3000 amp and Yamaha mixer. I have been offered $500 ea. for these subs & turned it down. If you find these cabs and want excellent bass, jump on them. Amp them right and you'll have no regrets. SIZMIK SOUNDZ/KJ-DJ.

I expect that I will continue using these subs until they burn out or the surround fails - and then I'll buy new drivers and put them in these cabs, and *still* be using these subs. ;-)
I will, however, be adding more - of the same model, if that tells you anything - because I want MORE BASS!
Sound
First of all, the power ratings on this product are extremely conservative - I have been running mine with 800W RMS amps for several months now with no problems to report except that 1600W isn't enough *bass*. ;-)
They move a lot of air.. they're not really great in the 20-30hz range, but once you get past 30, woah, nelly, hang on tight!
Great for techno or rock..

"The Sub to buy on a budget!"
i don't know how long i'll have it but, i know for sure its staying in our youth room for a long time no matter what.
Sound
Besides having to have a low setting on the cross over, tis can push a lot of air. Quite directive, need two for a wide stage. I use it with a Crown CE2000. This combo works very good. it'll push people back. I wouldn't use this sub if the clubs were any bigger, 30'x30' for my youth room is awsome for it though.

Quality
so far so good, half a year and one coffe spill, a few pops from stupid sound guys, it has put out very well. i am surprised how well it does for how cheap.

The Wow Factor
besides it saying YAMAHA intead of EAW or JBL, I would defintly take it for the price and use the money saved to buy a nice am for it. CE2000 or a QSX RMX amp. This speaker is awsome if do good speaker amp matching.
